Details

Gemiler Beach is located along the Turquoise Coast near Kalkan village in Antalya Province. It holds a reputation as one of the area's hidden gems, owing to its remote accessibility only by boat or lengthy hike.

This comes with benefits though - you'll discover a pristine cove of soft golden sand and crystal clear waters that feel utterly private. Towering ochre cliffs encase the shore, with verdant terraces above. It makes for incredible scenery and swimming.

Boat trips from Kalkan harbor provide the easiest access, taking around 30 minutes. In peak season, shuttles run 10am-4pm. Otherwise it's a hot 5-6 hour hike downhill on rough trails not for the faint of heart!

Come prepared - bring everything needed like snacks, water and sun protection. No amenities exist on the deserted beach. Camping overnight is also an option for truly getting away from it all.
